Our Mission
Applying for VAC benefits is difficult at the best of times.
The Veterans Peer Education Network is dedicated to educating and supporting Canadian veterans in understanding and navigating the complexities of accessing VAC disability benefits.
We are a veteran run organization that was born out of a desire to help buddy. We have never, and will never, accept any money from a veteran.
All we ask from those we help is to spread the word.
We ensure that no one gets left behind in their pursuit of the support they deserve.
Education For CAF Members and Veterans
Most VAC claims are denied due to incomplete or missing documentation. Through clear guidance on policies, evidence requirements, and application strategies, we help veterans overcome the red tape and get the support they've earned. Our mission is to make the process transparent and accessible.
We encourage and support the growth of veteran led peer supported online communities that allow veterans to support one another.
This training is always 100% free to members and veterans.
Education For Medical Providers
We provide specialized training for medical professionals to effectively support veterans applying for VAC disability benefits.
Our program covers VAC policies, the Table of Disabilities, documentation standards, and best practices for assessments. By bridging the gap between clinical care and bureaucratic systems, we empower providers to become strong allies in a veteran’s journey to recognition and care.
This allows us to direct veterans toward medical providers that have the knowledge, the capacity and the motivation to support their veteran patients.
